Job summary

NFI North in Louisville, KY is hiring a Shift Supervisor to oversee direct care staff and program participants on a designated shift under the Assistant Director. You will supervise, coordinate operations, and ensure safe medication administration as part of the management team.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's or Associate’s degree with experience with participant populations, strong organizational and communication skills, and a collaborative, crisis-ready approach to working with

• Bachelor’s Degree with experience preferred or Associate’s Degree with five-plus years’ experience with participant population.
• Experience as a strong team player with ability to handle crises calmly.
• Ability to assume and delegate responsibilities and make quick, safe decisions.

Job description

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of assigned Residential Counselors and program participants in support of the Assistant Director in carrying out the responsibilities of program operations. Responsible for medication administration, which includes all medical management on shift. This person will be a member of the management team and have on-call duties.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree and experience preferred or Associate’s Degree and five plus years’ experience with participant population. Candidates should be an experienced team player, enjoy new challenges daily and be level-headed during crisis situations. Good organization and communication skills necessary; ability to assume and delegate responsibilities and exercise quick and safe decision making is also required. The ideal candidate would be flexible, energetic, creative and love working with adolescents. Must be willing to work closely as part of a team of professionals.
