Job summary

NFI North, Stetson Ranch is seeking a Shift Supervisor for the adolescent residential program (ages 12–18) in Stetson, ME. The Shift Supervisor will supervise Direct Care Staff and program participants to support program operations and ensure a safe, structured milieu.

The role combines direct care with administrative duties, including on-call coverage and daily documentation, under the guidance of the Assistant Director. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, psychology, sociology OR equivalent plus one year working with youth.
• Strong organization and communication skills are necessary.
• Ability to assume and delegate responsibilities and exercise solid decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Direct Care Counselors and program participants in collaboration with the Assistant Director.

NFI North Stetson Ranch, an adolescent residential program for ages 12 – 18 is seeking a Shift Supervisor. The Shift Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of assigned Direct Care Staff and program participants in support of the Assistant Director in carrying out the responsibilities of program operations.

The shift supervisor position includes a combination of direct care and administrative duties. The shift supervisor is responsible for managing a therapeutic milieu, participating in a rotating on-call schedule, and managing shift programming. Additionally, the position includes supervision of Direct Care Counselors on a weekly to bi-weekly schedule and participating in daily quality assurance of the treatment groups and daily documentation.

Qualifications include a Bachelors Degree in human services, social work, psychology, sociology OR equivalent plus one year working with youth. Equivalent experience will also be considered. Strong organization and communication skills are necessary, as are the ability to assume and delegate responsibilities and to exercise solid decision-making skills.The ideal candidate will be flexible, energetic and creative and have the desire to be part of a team of professionals.
