Southeastern Directions for Life is seeking Direct Support Professionals to work in group homes with individuals who have developmental disabilities. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, with evening shifts and weekend requirements as needed.
DSPs help individuals lead self-directed lives, support daily living activities, advocate for goals, and teach social and communication skills. A HS diploma, valid driver’s license, and background checks are required; training is provided.

Southeast Directions for Life's mission is "empowering people to discover their directions for life in a changing world".
Evening hours are 2pm-10pm, 3 nights a week and every other weekend.
Our mission is to "educate and support individuals to discover their directions for life". Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) are key role models for the individuals who receive services from southeastern directions for life. DSPs assist individuals to lead self-directed lives, assist individuals in becoming an active part of their community, advocate for the individuals served to communicate their needs and goals, and work directly with individuals to teach them self-care, social skills, and communication skills. DSPs provide assistance with activities of daily living, skills development, health maintenance, medication administration, personal care, and behavioral development. Must be able to work weekends and holidays when necessary.
High school diploma/GED. Must have a current driver's license, car insurance, and a driving record acceptable to Southeast Directions for Life's insurance provider. Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check to include fingerprinting, Department of Social Services Central Registry check, Motor Vehicle background check, and drug screening.
