Job summary

Southeast Directions for Life is seeking a full-time Direct Support Professional for Education and Integration in a school setting. The role includes mornings in a group home, helping with routines, and transporting clients to the Adult Day Program, then continuing on-site until about 3 pm.

Join a team-focused environment committed to empowering individuals and improving lives. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm with no nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and car insurance.
• Driving record acceptable to the insurer.
• Must pass comprehensive criminal background checks (fingerprinting, Central Registry, Motor Vehicle checks, drug screening).

Responsibilities

• Assist with morning routines in a group home (7:00–9:00).
• Provide transportation to the Adult Day Program.
• Work in a team atmosphere and support individuals to make a difference.

Southeast Directions for Life is looking for a full-time staff to work as a Direct Support Professional at Education and Integration in our school setting. Our mission is "empowering people to discover their directions for life in a changing world."

Schedule: 7:00am - 3:00pm, Monday - Friday. NO nights, NO weekends!!

JOB SUMMARY:

This position involves working 7am - 9am in a group home, helping individuals with morning routines, and assisting with transportation to our Adult Day Program. The EDSP will continue to work the remainder of the day (until approximately 3 pm) at our Adult Day Program. You will be working in a team atmosphere and will enjoy seeing the difference you can make in a person's life.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma/GED. Must have a current driver's license, car insurance, and a driving record acceptable to Southeast’s insurance provider. Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check to include fingerprinting, Dept. of Social Services Central Registry check, Motor Vehicle background check, and drug screening.
