Job summary

Health Care and Rehabilitation Services (HCRS) in Brattleboro, VT is seeking a Residential Specialist to help individuals living with mental health or substance use challenges develop independent living and emotional regulation skills. You will support clients to achieve their treatment goals in a compassionate, respectful manner.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED; preferred are an Associate's or Bachelor\'s degree in psychology, social work, or human services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; preferred associate or bachelor's in human services.
• Experience with mental health and/or substance use challenges.
• Valid driver\'s license, car insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Compassion, respect, and ability to set appropriate boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with mental health and/or substance abuse challenges to develop independent living and emotional regulation skills.
• Assist in achieving identified treatment goals through coaching and support.
