Supportive Concepts for Families, Inc. is seeking a Residential Specialist to provide direct support in residential settings for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This part-time role offers $17 per hour and DailyPay, with training provided.

Locations include Baldwin, Coraopolis, Dormont, Emsworth, Gibsonia, and North Hills. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, ensuring safety, documenting progress, and collaborating with families and care

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support and supervision to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential settings while promoting independence, dignity, and inclusion.
• Assist individuals with daily living activities, transportation, community participation, and achieving goals outlined in their ISP and BSP.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive home environment while complying with agency policies, licensing requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation, including medication administration records, progress notes, goal tracking, incident reports, and other required records.
• Collaborate with supervisors, families, support teams, and community partners to ensure high-quality care and outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Provide direct support and supervision to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential settings while promoting independence, dignity, and inclusion.
• Assist individuals with daily living activities, transportation, community participation, and achieving goals outlined in their Individual Support Plans (ISP) and Behavior Support Plans (BSP).
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive home environment while supporting compliance with agency policies, licensing requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation, including medication administration records, progress notes, goal tracking, incident reports, and other required records.
• Collaborate with supervisors, families, support teams, and community partners to ensure high-quality care and positive outcomes for the individuals supported.

Qualifications Required

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver's License

Preferred

• Previous experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities or in a human services setting

Schedule

• Part-Time
• Flexible scheduling based on program needs
• Weekend and holiday hours may be required
• On-call or emergency support may be required as assigned

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist individuals as needed throughout the workday
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
