Job summary
Supportive Concepts for Families, Inc. seeks a Residential Specialist to provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting.
You will assist with daily living activities, meals, and community participation while following individualized plans, promoting dignity and respect.

Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License.
- Previous experience working directly with individuals with MH diagnoses and disabilities.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in English communication, both verbal and written.
- Ability to successfully complete all required training programs.
- Ability to pass Criminal Record History Clearances, FBI clearance, Physical Examination, and Drug Screening.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with personal care needs including bathing, dressing, grooming and hygiene.
- Preparing meals and assisting with feeding when necessary.
- Supporting daily living skills and independence.
- Helping individuals participate in community activities, appointments, and social events.
- Providing companionship, encouragement and emotional support.
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment.
- Following individualized support plans and goals.
- Promoting dignity, respect and person-centered care.

- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist individuals as needed
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
