Job summary

Comcast is seeking a Utility Coordinator in Maryland to manage utility-related activities for residential solar projects. You will serve as the primary liaison among utility providers, field teams, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure inspections and milestones are completed on schedule.

The role blends administrative coordination with field duties, requiring strong communication, organization, and follow-through. Local travel to customer sites and utility locations will be necessary.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple active projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel locally to customer properties and utility inspection locations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate directly with utility companies regarding project requirements, applications, inspections, approvals, and outstanding items.
• Schedule and coordinate utility inspections and other required utility-related site visits.
• Travel to customer properties and meet utility representatives onsite to host and facilitate utility inspections.
• Submit, track, and monitor Miss Utility/811 tickets and ensure required utility marking activities are completed within applicable timelines.
• Monitor utility applications and projects through completion, proactively following up on outstanding requirements, inspections, approvals, and documentation.
• Maintain accurate and timely project information, notes, documents, and status updates within the company's CRM system.
• Communicate project status, delays, requirements, and next steps to internal stakeholders and field teams.
