You will assess equipment, replace faulty parts, troubleshoot on-site, and communicate findings to homeowners while maintaining accurate records and coordinating with manufacturers.

Qualifications

• Must have expert residential solar install and electrical experience.
• Minimum 7–10 years of relevant work experience.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Assess solar equipment issues and follow troubleshooting protocols.
• Replace faulty equipment and commission system.
• Inform homeowners of on-site findings and next steps.
• Contact manufacturer technical support and troubleshoot on-site.
• Place orders for standard parts as needed.
• Initiate and reference warranty discussions with manufacturers.
• Document service activities and maintain records.
• Assist in processing shipping labels for returned equipment.
• Notify managers of completion and updates on system issues.
• Stock truck with tools and parts for on-site work.
• Maintain regular, punctual attendance and be available for nights/weekends.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
