Qualifications

• Expert-level AutoCAD proficiency is required.
• Experience creating residential solar permit plan sets is required.
• Experience reviewing and quality-checking residential solar plan sets is required.
• Strong understanding of residential solar PV design, construction, and permitting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the creation, review, revision, and final delivery of residential solar permit plan sets.
• Perform detailed quality-control reviews and ensure plans meet requirements.
• Review and troubleshoot complex residential solar projects when needed.
• Serve as AutoCAD subject-matter expert and improve drafting standards.
• Develop and maintain AutoCAD templates, blocks, details, notes, and standards.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive AutoCAD tasks and improve efficiency.
• Coordinate with internal teams and third-party providers.
