AllSeason Solar & Roofing is seeking a Solar Designer to design code-compliant residential and commercial solar photovoltaic systems. You will prepare AutoCAD plan sets and collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Estimating departments.

The role requires drafting, electrical design fundamentals, and strong organizational skills in an office setting. The position is full-time in the office with benefits, and offers opportunities to grow in design/engineering.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with engineering, construction, and customer facing teams.
• Proficiency in drafting using AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of drafting standards and symbols.
• Strong electrical design fundamentals.
• Excellent computing skills.
• 1 to 2 years of design experience required.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Design the layout of residential and commercial solar electrical systems.
• Provide technical support for solar installation crews and solar sales personnel.
• Maintain all records that pertain to the installation such as permits and design plans.
• Review and overview and approve BOS Design.
• Preparing for material order based on design.
