Job summary

Fresh Coast Solar is seeking an experienced Electrician leader to guide residential solar construction teams in Chicago, IL. You will oversee onsite projects, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to prepare for installations.

The role involves preconstruction reviews, site visits, and troubleshooting of electrical issues, with occasional travel to local residential sites. Strong NEC knowledge and leadership capabilities are essential.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience installing solar PV and energy storage systems.
Strong residential solar construction experience.
Experience leading, supervising, mentoring, or managing construction teams.
Strong understanding of electrical systems, solar installation practices, and NEC requirements.
Electrical license preferred; candidates should identify licenses during application.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and coach residential construction teams with direction and support.
Oversee solar construction projects to ensure safety, schedule, budget, and quality.
Oversee preconstruction activities including site conditions, materials, and readiness.
Lead site survey reviews and field visits as needed.
Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Operations, Sales and other teams to ensure project readiness.
