Job summary
Fresh Coast Solar is seeking a Residential Solar Construction Manager – Interim to lead and mentor on residential solar projects in Chicago, IL. This role emphasizes directing construction teams, ensuring safety, schedules, and budgets align with company standards, and coordinating preconstruction activities.
The position requires hands-on PV and energy storage installation experience, strong leadership, and the ability to travel to local jobsites.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience installing solar PV and energy storage systems.
- Strong residential solar construction experience.
- Experience leading or managing construction teams.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, NEC requirements.
- Willingness to travel to local residential jobsites.
- Electrical license preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and coach residential construction teams, providing direction and technical guidance.
- Oversee solar construction projects to ensure safety, schedule, budget, and quality compliance.
- Oversee preconstruction activities including project reviews and site readiness.
- Lead site survey reviews and conduct jobsite visits as needed.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Operations, Sales for project success.
