Job summary

Namaste Solar is offering a Residential Solar Apprentice position to support all aspects of project installation. You will work with a crew to install arrays, attach racking, wire modules, and commission systems at customer sites along the Front Range.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and hands-on learning with real project exposure; the program aligns with DORA licensing pathways and provides comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction environments.
• Basic understanding of solar PV installations.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs., climbing ladders, and working on rooftops.
• Reliable transportation along Front Range and a clean driving record.
• Have a basic set of hand tools.
• Organized with good communication and multi-tasking.
• Ability to read field layouts and understand PV system design.

Responsibilities

• Safety first on crew and job site.
• Ensure materials and tools arrive on site.
• Complete installations to design specs.
• Assist with documentation and reporting.
• Support tool management and vehicle maintenance.
• Travel to customer sites and Namaste Solar offices.
