Job summary

The Centers in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead residential unit operations on weekend shifts. You will supervise Residential Treatment Specialists, ensure trauma-informed care implementation, and guide staff during crisis situations to maintain safety for youth and staff.

Responsibilities include maintaining program structure, supervising staff, coordinating shift coverage, and communicating safety concerns to leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; a Bachelor’s degree program may substitute for experience.
• Minimum 3 years in residential or behavioral health setting.
• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience.
• Valid driver license in Ohio with an acceptable driving record.
• Successful completion of all required post-offer background checks.
• Current TB skin test or equivalent showing no signs or symptoms of tuberculosis on first day of work.
• Therapeutic Crisis Intervention, BLS, Safety, Routine Care, Youth Engagement within 30 days of starting work.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Residential Treatment Specialists I, II, and III during assigned shifts.
• Ensure safety of youth and staff; direct staff during crisis situations.
• Maintain program structure, routines, and expectations within the residential program.
• Coordinate shift coverage and act as on-call supervisor.
• Communicate significant events, safety concerns, and operational updates to leadership.
• Apply Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) principles to prevent and de-escalate crises.
