Venture Community Services Inc. seeks a Full-Time Shift Supervisor in a residential adult setting to supervise Direct Support Professionals, oversee ISPs and behavior plans, and ensure safe, compassionate care for residents with diverse needs.

The role emphasizes leadership, coordination with families and agencies, and documenting progress while supporting residents’ independence and daily living skills.

Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. in education, psychology, rehabilitation, or related field preferred or one year of experience in human services.
• Must maintain active MAP certification, will need to obtain MAP certification within 3 months of hire.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to meet physical requirements, including assisting with resident transfers, personal care, and handling emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Implement Individual Support Plans (ISPs), behavior plans, and assessments to align with individual needs and program goals.
• Lead and supervise Direct Support Professionals during shifts, ensuring communication and adherence to daily scheduled plans.
• Ensure medications are delivered and documented; oversee safety checks and emergency procedures.
• Foster resident engagement in meaningful activities and community integration.
• Coordinate with families, guardians, and external agencies to support comprehensive care.
