Job summary

Venture Community Services seeks a Direct Support Professional for an adult residential setting. This full-time role involves supervising and supporting residents’ daily activities to promote independence, growth, and community integration.

You will implement ISPs and behavior plans, supervise DSPs, document care, assist with meals and safety, and coordinate with families and staff. Paid training and a $1,000 sign-on bonus are offered for full-time employees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, rehabilitation, or related field preferred or one year of experience in human services.
• MAP certification is required and must be obtained within 3 months of hire.
• Must be 21+ with a valid driver’s license and daily use of a car (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Implement ISPs and behavior plans and assessments.
• Lead and supervise Direct Support Professionals during shifts.
• Document ISP programs and behavior data sheets.
• Ensure medications are delivered and documented.
• Coordinate with families, guardians, and external agencies for coordinated care.
• Attend reviews and assist with resident accounts and budgets.
