Position Overview

The Residential Shift Supervisor provides leadership and supervision for operational staff during their assigned shift. Responsibilities include generating work schedules, providing shelter coverage, training new staff, and enforcing policies and procedures.

Salary

$42,000 - $46,000

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with staff scheduling and assignments
• Monitor staff and assign tasks
• Communicate with DHS vacancy control for family placements
• Provide crisis interventions
• Supervise Residential Specialists
• Arrange coverage for absences and unforeseen situations
• Record incidents and client issues
• Maintain safety, security, and cleanliness standards
• Monitor daily census and update records
• Ensure compliance with safety inspections and fire drills
• Assist with client intake and program service delivery
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience in safety and working with at-risk adults
• Knowledge of homelessness issues, including diverse and marginalized communities
• Experience in a 24-hour residential setting
• Strong communication and computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Flexibility with scheduling
