Job summary

WellLife Network is seeking a Residence Coordinator to oversee daily staff assignments and ensure the residence operates safely. You will supervise DSPs, support residents in daily living, and coordinate interdisciplinary planning to promote independence and well-being.

You'll document data in Avatar, administer medications as required, and participate in trainings while maintaining confidentiality and strong team communication within a nonprofit health and human services setting in New York.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associates preferred.
• One to two years experience with developmentally disabled population.
• Valid NYS driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Promote resident independence, dignity, social responsibility, and personal growth through supportive daily interactions.
• Provide daily supervision to DSPs, including reviewing documentation, assigning tasks, and staff training.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and personal needs.
• Document consumer data in Avatar.
• Coordinate and participate in interdisciplinary team activities.
• Safely intervene during crises and administer first aid when necessary.
