The Eastern Louisiana Mental Health System (ELMHS) is seeking a Residential Services Specialist to support residents in daily routines and help them build skills for successful transition back into the community.
You will combine communication and de-escalation techniques to promote safety and maintain a therapeutic environment in our community homes, with on-site duties and state employee benefits.
Division: The Community Group Homes Department at the Eastern Louisiana Mental Health System
The mission of ELMHS is to provide mental health evaluation, treatment, habilitation, and consultation for adults. Programs provided include inpatient interventions, jail-based evaluations, supervised group home and residential programs, forensic evaluation, care, custody, and aftercare; intermediate and long-term psychiatric are a coordination with the total system of care in Louisiana.
ELMHS is looking for a Residential Services Specialist who will support residents in their daily routines and will help them to build the skills needed to successfully transition back into the community. ELMHS is also looking for someone who will combine learned skills in communication and de-escalation to help promote safety and maintain a therapeutic environment for residents in our community homes.
No experience or training required.
