Pinecrest Supports & Services Center (PSSC) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Services Specialist 5 to perform diverse and technical tasks. This position will be vital in supervising a group of Residential Services Specialists (RSS) in carrying out active treatment plans and basic care for persons with developmental disabilities and in training and guiding direct subordinates in routine and simple self-help skills such as good hygiene, feeding and dressing, and good housekeeping.
Three years of training or experience in providing behavioral health or developmentally disabled services or psychiatric patient care; OR
Thirty-six semester hours in education, psychology, counseling, social work, sociology, child guidance or nursing.

Shift: 7:30 am – 8:00 pm Team: Day A or B
Shift: 7:30 pm – 8:00 am Team: Night A or B
Appointment Type: This position may be filled by Probation, Promotion, Demotion, Lateral Transfer, Detail to Special Duty, or Job Appointment.
Preference may be given to permanent classified employees of Pinecrest Supports and Services Center.
Compensation: This position has a Special Entrance Rate (SER) of $1458.00 biweekly
