Job summary

Life’s WORC is seeking a dedicated individual to provide oversight and support in residential settings in New York. The role involves supervising staff, coordinating scheduling, and assisting individuals in daily living activities while driving agency vehicles as needed.

Qualifications

• One year experience working with people with developmental disabilities is required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing protective oversight to people living in the residence.
• 24/7 on-call accessibility.
• Assist with scheduling, personnel issues, training of residential staff, and other delegated tasks.
• Provide on-going supervision of residential staff.
• Assist people supported in activities of daily living.
• Provide training and support per each person’s program plan.
• Participate in staff selection and evaluation.
• Complete AMAP course and annual recertification.
• General lifting as needed (eg. laundry, groceries).
• Drive agency vehicles and follow safety practices.
