Job summary

Support Solutions Of The Mid-south Llc seeks a House Manager to oversee administrative and programmatic duties for assigned homes, ensuring licensing compliance, staffing adequacy, training, and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities include supervising Direct Support Professionals, coordinating ISP meetings, developing staff schedules, maintaining records, managing budgets, and ensuring safe, clean homes with timely incident reporting.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• One year's experience in direct service with adults with mental disabilities.
• Must be able to do heavy lifting in assisting with service recipients.
• Must have functional computer knowledge.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a valid driving record.
• Must meet state and local requirements regarding criminal background check, abuse registry, and felony offender listing.
• Must have current TB skin test or chest x-ray.
• Must meet all training requirements and keep training current.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Direct Support Professionals and establish staffing patterns.
• Attend ISP and Circle of Support meetings; help develop ISP plans.
• Schedule and conduct regular staff meetings and training.
• Provide direct service coverage as needed, including transportation.
• Maintain records and ensure regulatory conformity across homes.
• Ensure medical appointments are scheduled and accompanied by staff.
• Monitor budgets and inventory; maintain safe, clean homes and proper menus.
• Document incidents promptly; communicate with staff and managers.
