The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Department of Human Services seeks a Residential Services Worker at Selinsgrove Center to coach staff, support individuals through ISP-based training, and promote a positive, safe living environment. The role includes documenting progress, reviewing records, participating in team meetings, reducing incidents, and coordinating with supply orders.

It requires substantial direct care experience or related education and is a full-time, onsite position with overtime

Formación

• Five years of paid direct care experience or equivalent combination of education and training.
• Bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences, psychology, social work, education, or nursing.
• One year direct care experience with a degree, or equivalent combination.
• Educational requirements may be met within three months of graduating.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in planning and delivering residential training based on ISPs.
• Provide direction to residential services aides and develop their skills.
• Check documentation for accuracy and report to supervisors.
• Share input in meetings and help identify strategies for active treatment.
• Identify causes of incidents and support safety improvement efforts.
• Request supplies and equipment to support program goals.

Bachelor's degree required

One year direct care + BA
