Job summary

Northeast Arc in Beverly, MA, is hiring for a full-time Assistant Program Director to join one of our Beverly homes. The role focuses on quality living supports, guiding individuals in daily activities and community engagement.

The position requires hands-on supervision, medication administration per MAPs, and collaboration with staff to ensure safety and growth opportunities. Schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 9:00 am–5:00 pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; higher degree preferred.
• Prior experience in direct support with individuals with disabilities.
• Strong communication skills and computer proficiency.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support at the home, including transferring, bathing, grooming, and following dining protocols.
• Document accurately in logs, health records and incident reports as required.
• Foster meaningful community experiences to build skills and independence.
• Assist with growth opportunities and increasing independence where possible.
• Participate in supervision, staff meetings, QA and trainings as needed.
• Ensure trainings for staff; provide on-site supervision and support.
• Administer medications per policies and MAPs regulations.
• Support doctor's appointments, ER visits and on-call nursing as needed.
• Maintain home and agency vehicles with seasonal maintenance and cleaning.
• Complete ISP documentation and other required records.
