Hope Plumbing, Heating & Cooling is hiring a Service Plumber to diagnose and repair residential plumbing systems, educate customers, and advise on maintenance plans. You will work from customer sites, handle complex repairs, and mentor apprentices while collaborating with dispatch and service teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential plumbing service experience.
• Knowledgeable of local plumbing codes and ability to apply on the job.
• Proven track record in soldering, fixture installation, leak detection and repair.
• Continued education and training.
• Clean, safe driving record.
• Highly organized with exceptional follow-through.
• Strong verbal and written communications.
• High integrity with advanced social skills and ability to connect.
• Desire to improve as a technician and win as a team.

Responsibilities

• Understand plumbing systems to troubleshoot and diagnose issues.
• Access crawlspaces/attics when needed.
• Educate customers and provide detailed option sheets.
• Assist customers in choosing finance options and maintenance plans.
• Perform repairs and test functionality and leaks.
• Exceed revenue goals and maintain professional standards.
• Build referrals and repeat business through trust and expertise.
• Collaborate with customer service and dispatch for success.
• Keep job sites clean and trucks organized.
• Participate in training, meetings, and team events.
• Mentor apprentices for quick, accurate repairs and installations.
• Accurate invoicing and timekeeping.

Responsibilities:

• Understand the plumbing system in order to accurately troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing issues.
• Physically capable of going through crawlspaces and attics when necessary.
• Know how to educate customers and provide detailed option sheets with the right products and services.
• Educate and assist customers in choosing the best finance options and maintenance plans.
• Ability to make repairs and properly test for functionality and leaks.
• Understand service criteria and hold yourself accountable for exceeding revenue goals.
• Show yourself as professional and knowledgeable to win new referrals and repeat business.
• Work alongside customer service and dispatch to ensure overall success of the business.
• Maintain a clean, organized job site and well inventoried truck.
• Participate actively in all training exercises, morning meetings and retreats.
• Train and mentor apprentices to ensure quick, accurate repairs and installations.
• Be accurate and timely with invoices, timecards, curbside feedback and option sheets.

Qualifications:

• Three (3)+ Years of residential plumbing service experience.
• Knowledgeable of local plumbing codes and ability to make on-the-job applications.
