Job summary

Brinks Home is seeking a Lead Alarm & Certified Security Professional in Las Vegas to drive high‑quality residential installations and exceptional customer experiences. You will design systems, perform walkthroughs, and coordinate with care teams to meet client needs while ensuring compliance with regulations.

The role requires 5+ years in residential alarm installs, deep product knowledge of panels, strong problem‑solving, and a proven safety record.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience in residential alarm installations.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality results.
• Certifications and licenses are a plus.
• H.S. Diploma or GED.
• Good driving record and valid driver’s license.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Working knowledge of how an alarm system operates.
• Comfort with climbing ladders and working at heights.
• Comfort working in tight spaces like crawlspaces, attics and basements.

Responsibilities

• Experience with alarm panels: Qolsys 4/5, Honeywell Vista 20/128, DSC 1864/1616, Concord 4, and others like DMP, 2GIG and Ademco.
• Troubleshoot technical problems.
• Drilling, dropping, and running wires in multi-level homes.
• Replace/install system components: add-ons, conversions, takeovers, new installs, and service.
• Maintain and record inventory transactions job to job.
• Install and test equipment operations and signal verification for service.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer systems and provide recommendations.
• Maintain safety practices to prevent injuries and property damage.
• Keep workspace and fleet vehicle clean and organized.

PositionOverview

We are currently seeking a determinedLead Alarm & Certified Security Professionalwho embodies our core values: Service, Accountability, Customer Focus, Growth, and Integrity.

The Certified Security Professional role is for tenured industry proven technicians with white glove customer experience success. You will play an integral role in supporting a customized approach to new installations with next level of customer relationships. The role entails visiting customer sites through the workday, completing walkthroughs, designing systems, installations with tech enhancements while partnering with our care team to ensure all customer needs are met. Additionally, you will serve as a tech expert in residential “custom home” installations while ensuring our compliance with all relevant regulations.

• Base Pay Range: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour (or salary equivalent)
• Commission/Bonus: Eligible for additional earnings based on sales performance and upsell activity

KeyResponsibilities

• Experience with these specific alarm panels: Qolsys 4 and 5, Honeywell (Vista 20 and 128), DSC (1864,1616,) Concord 4, and familiar with others such as DMP, 2GIG and Ademco.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical problems.

Requirements

• 5 plus years of industry experience in residential alarm installations
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality results.
• Relevant certifications and licenses are a plus.
• H.S. Diploma or GED
• Good driving record and Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Working knowledge of how an alarm system operates.
