Job summary

Allied Universal in New York is seeking a Security Officer for a Multi-Building Residential Patrol. This full-time, on-site role involves patrolling residential buildings, monitoring access points, and delivering courteous security services to residents, visitors and staff.

You will work night shifts (11:00 PM–7:00 AM) on Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat and Sun. A valid New York State Security Guard License, high school diploma or equivalent, and a background check are required.

Qualifications

• Must possess NYS Security Guard License.
• Age: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors and staff by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and concerns calmly, escalating as per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor and delivery activity according to property policies.
• Document patrols and incidents accurately and communicate findings to management.
