Job summary

HANAC, Inc. is seeking a Security Guard for on-call night and weekend shifts across multiple locations in New York. You will be the first point of contact for residents, visitors, and staff, maintaining safety and a welcoming environment while delivering professional customer service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18+ years old and able to read/write English.
• Must possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• 6 months to 1 year of security guard experience or equivalent.
• Able to think clearly and act decisively in crises.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and authorize entrance/exit to maintain safety.
• Observe surveillance and report suspicious activity.
• Direct visitors to destinations within the building.
• Provide professional customer service per company standards.
• Open/close doors for residents, visitors, and employees.
• Generate daily activity reports including incidents and deliveries.
• Respond to emergencies and emergencies promptly per procedures.
• Communicate with management and client personnel as required.
