Job summary

ADT is seeking a Residential Installation Technician to assess customer needs, design, install, and educate on security systems at homes or businesses.

You will work with customers to determine the best equipment, install and test operations, ensure safety, and leave the site in better condition. A valid driver’s license and a high school diploma are required; trade school experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with the customer to determine optimal system and equipment to meet their needs.
• Install and test the operations of all equipment to ensure proper functionality and signal reception.
• Evaluate information and provide the best solution for the location.
• Identify opportunities to improve use and functionality of the system and make recommendations.
• Pursue safety practices to safeguard against injury and damage to property.
• Ensure tools and materials are accounted for and leave the site clean.
• Work in a dynamic, collaborative environment with customers and coworkers.
• Visit customers at their homes or businesses to provide solutions.
