Job summary

Safe Haven Security is seeking an Installation Technician / Security Advisor to install, service, and troubleshoot residential alarm and automation systems. You will conduct tests, provide customer education, and ensure all installations meet quality standards.

The role requires basic tools, strong communication, and the ability to handle physically demanding work in varied environments. A valid driver’s license and alarm permit when applicable are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to obtain or possess an alarm agent permit where applicable and according to laws.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Install security alarm systems including control panels, sensors, cameras, and related equipment.
• Engage in sales consultations with customers to understand needs and recommend solutions.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure proper function of systems.
• Test installed systems and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
• Educate customers on using their security systems confidently.
• Complete installation reports, service tickets, and inventory records accurately.
