Description

AHF Products has a job opportunity for a Residential Sales Specialist to be remote. The territory for this role will be the greater Tampa, FL area. This role will provide the highest level of customer service to an assigned residential region while professionally presenting AHF Products entire product portfolio, which includes Natural Stone, Quarry, Porcelain, Specialty Tiles, Allied Products, Solid Wood, Engineered Wood, LVP and HDPD. AHF Products team members are all expected to adhere to company’s core values and work within the organizational standards and teamwork to achieve the overall goals.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Identify targeted Builders, Dealers, Designers and Outdoor Pool Designers and Builders in your geographic market and develop a strong relationship with key contacts.
  • Update libraries and design studios with AHF Products product offerings.
  • Visit job sites to stress the features and benefits of the AHF Products residential product lines, AHF Products staff, and new showroom.
  • Use of CRM daily to track sales.
  • Prepare a formal and rehearsed presentation of AHF Products, services and company strengths.
  • Occasionally perform informal inside sales. Must be willing and able to work with the other sales team members to update the sales staff on new residential product offerings and incorporating specialty items with current inventories to promote the entire product line.
  • Respond to customer’s needs providing timely feedback regarding all sales related issues.
  • Be well prepared by doing research on the customers and their competition.
  • Set objectives and work within the AHF Products profile to reach these objectives.
  • Maintain residential customers within said territory and complete reports and goals in a timely manner.
  • Ask open-ended questions; know the features and benefits of AHF Products product offering.
  • Participate in periodic training sessions and cross-training opportunities.
  • Participate in local NKBA, ASID, HBA and Chamber mixers.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years of flooring experience or designer or custom builder experience.
  • Well-developed inter-personal and communication skills, presentation skills, negotiating skills, organization skills, listening skills and ability to work well with others.
  • Openness to accept new techniques in product knowledge, training and problem solving.
  • Work within the team scope of AHF Products on relationships and completing the tasks on a timely basis.
  • Organized and capable of planning for weeks in advance.
  • Working proficiency in Spanish.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Occasionally push, pull, carry, and lift 20 - 50lbs.
  • Occasionally walk, stand, stretch, bend, stoop, twist, reach, grasp and perform repetitive movements.
  • Frequently talk, hear, read, and write.
