This in-person, unarmed role supports a safe, structured environment for residents, staff and visitors on a 2nd shift schedule. The specialist enforces access control, conducts safety checks, and collaborates with the team to de-escalate conflicts while ensuring privacy and dignity.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in human services, social work, psychology or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with maintaining safety and security for residents, staff, visitors and property.
• Monitor facilities and enforce access control, visitor screening, and crisis response procedures.
• Provide de-escalation and safety support to residents during emergencies or conflicts.
