Job summary

Target is hiring a Security Specialist for our Lawndale store to protect guests, team members, and inventory. You will use intelligence-led tactics, monitor video systems, and document incidents while supporting crisis response with de-escalation skills.

• Must be at least 18 years old or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate scanners.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe guest and team member environment through de-escalation and safety practices.
• Respond to security incidents and document cases promptly in the case management system.
• Monitor and utilize Target's video surveillance system to investigate incidents.
• Assist with merchandise protection and loss prevention in accordance with AP policies.
• Collaborate with store leadership and public safety officials as needed.
