Job summary

Chimes is seeking a Recovery Specialist for its Residential Recovery Program in Drexel Hill, PA. The role involves guiding residents in daily living skills, providing recovery-focused counseling, and supporting a safe home environment with light chores and transportation duties.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate's degree with 1 year of human services experience, demonstrates strong communication, and can manage a small caseload of 4-5 residents. A valid driver’s license is required.

• Associate's degree with 1 year of human services experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Strong communicator who thrives both independently and on a team.
• Compassionate, flexible, recovery-oriented mindset.
• Comfort managing a small caseload (4-5 residents).
• Valid driver's license and willingness to transport residents.

Responsibilities

• Guide residents through daily living skills - self-care, budgeting, and medication education.
• Provide supportive, recovery-oriented counseling grounded in best practices.
• Help maintain a safe, welcoming home through light housekeeping and meal prep.
• Drive residents to appointments and activities using a program van.
• Administer medications in line with DPW standards.
• Respond calmly and confidently in crisis moments.
• Keep accurate documentation and billable service records.
• Advocate for residents and model healthy communication and conflict resolution.
• Partner with your program coordinator and team to support each resident's individual goals.
