Job summary

Chimes Residential Recovery Program in Drexel Hill, PA is seeking a full-time Recovery Specialist to support residents as they rebuild daily living skills, budgeting, and independence within a small, supportive team.

You will guide residents, provide recovery-oriented counseling, and assist with transportation, medication education, and documentation while maintaining a compassionate, recovery-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree with 1 year of human services experience or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Strong communicator who thrives both independently and on a team.
• A compassionate, flexible, recovery-oriented mindset.
• Comfort managing a small caseload (4-5 residents).
• Valid driver's license and willingness to transport residents.

Responsibilities

• Guide residents through daily living skills - self-care, budgeting, and medication education
• Provide supportive, recovery-oriented counseling grounded in best practices
• Help maintain a safe, welcoming home through light housekeeping and meal prep
• Drive residents to appointments and activities using a program van
• Administer medications in line with DPW standards
• Respond calmly and confidently in crisis moments
• Keep accurate documentation and billable service records
• Advocate for residents and model healthy communication and conflict resolution
• Partner with your program coordinator and team to support each resident's individual goals
