Job summary

Community Solutions, Inc. (CSI) seeks a full-time Residential Re-Entry Specialist for the Stein House in Hartford, CT. You will supervise clients, uphold agency policies, and provide counseling, advocacy and support to promote successful community re-entry.

The role administers assessments, monitors service plan goals, and involves clients in evidence-based groups. Schedule is Tue-Sat, 8:00am–4:00pm. Compensation is $19.75 per hour plus applicable shift differentials.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus 4 years of experience in the social service or criminal justice field preferred.
• Education may be substituted with relevant experience on a one year for one year basis.
• Able to arrive 15 minutes before shift for shift change, may also be required to stay later.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide client supervision and ensure safety of clients and facility.
• Conduct employment, job search and home confinement spot checks on each shift.
• Conduct searches of common areas, rooms, and perimeter and document results.
• Transport clients in a Company vehicle as needed.
• Complete intake on new arrivals and facilitate client orientation.
• Monitor clients' self-administration of medication.
• Sign in/out visitors and contractors.
• Complete monthly emergency drills and security checks.
