Job summary

The Groden Network is seeking a full-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our residential program in Johnston, RI, with work in Warwick or Smithfield as needed. The role supports young adults with autism under BCBA supervision, delivering direct services and coaching staff.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package and require current RBT certification, English proficiency, and a HS diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Current RBT certification in good standing.
• Experience supporting individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, and/or behavioral needs preferred.
• Education requirement: High School diploma or GED equivalence.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak in English proficiently.
• Ability to intervene and document as required.
• Professional communication with clients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to individuals during residential shifts and model practices.
• Support staff through hands-on practice during routines, transitions, ADLs, and activities.
• Develop staff through modeling, coaching, and feedback.
• Help new staff apply training to daily routines in the homes.
• Build positive relationships with staff and individuals while maintaining dignity and boundaries.
• Provide coaching to improve performance and maintain professionalism.
