Job summary

Bell Properties, Inc. in Los Angeles County seeks an experienced Property Manager to oversee a residential portfolio of up to 100 units across LA County.

The role blends daily administration with field visits, leasing oversight, resident communication, maintenance coordination, and financial accountability. You will take ownership of assigned properties, follow through on commitments, and resolve routine issues independently while escalating matters requiring authorization.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience managing residential properties, preferably a multi-location portfolio.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on Yardi experience including resident accounts, leasing, rent collection, work orders, and reporting.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with residents and owners.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize across multiple properties and deadlines.
• Independent work style with sound judgment and escalation when needed.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in files, finances, and inspections.
• Knowledge of California and local landlord-tenant regulations and fair housing principles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily property operations across the assigned portfolio and provide timely updates to owners and leadership.
• Market vacancies, coordinate showings, process applications and leases, and manage move-ins/renewals.
• Respond to resident inquiries, document concerns, coordinate resolutions, and communicate through closure.
• Conduct routine inspections and document maintenance needs, safety concerns, and lease violations.
• Coordinate work orders, obtain estimates, manage vendors, and ensure work completes within scope and budget.
• Visit vacant units to monitor turnover, ensure cleaning/repairs, and readiness for occupancy.
• Monitor rent collections, delinquent balances, invoices, expenses, and budget variances; coordinate financial reporting.
