Job summary

Horizon Land Company is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to keep our residential community safe and functional. You will handle multiple maintenance needs across building systems, grounds, and infrastructure, with emphasis on hands-on problem solving and independent work.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail oriented, and capable of coordinating with management to complete tasks efficiently in an outdoor property environment. Local travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One to two years of related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Ability to perform hands-on maintenance outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on building and grounds systems at the property.
• Maintain plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other systems.
• Inspect equipment and arrange repairs with supervision when needed.
• Plan repair work using blueprints or manuals.
• Maintain waterlines and ensure equipment stays in good condition.
• Order supplies with approval from Community/Regional Manager.
• Keep facilities and grounds clean, safe, and well-kept.
• Seasonal tasks: snow plowing, salting sidewalks, and pool area setup.
