Horizon Land Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Pontoon Beach, IL. This full-time, outdoor role involves hands-on maintenance of residential community facilities, grounds, and infrastructure, with opportunities to troubleshoot and repair a range of systems.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently to keep the property running smoothly year-round. Local travel within the community/region may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years related experience preferred in groundskeeping, light electrical and plumbing.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Ability to operate outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance & repairs: perform routine maintenance on building and grounds systems.
• Maintenance & repairs: inspect equipment and machinery and coordinate repairs.
• Maintenance & repairs: troubleshoot issues and plan repairs with management.
• Property & grounds maintenance: clean and upkeep facilities and grounds, including landscaping.
• Seasonal maintenance: snow removal and weather-related tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.
