Horizon Land Company is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician for our residential community in Toms River, NJ. You will handle a broad range of maintenance tasks across building systems, grounds, and equipment, ensuring safety and functional operations daily.

The role requires practical problem-solving, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to keeping the property well-maintained and presentable throughout the year.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools used in construction/repair of manufactured homes, buildings, or utilities.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to perform hands-on maintenance outdoors.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine maintenance on building and grounds systems across the property.
• Perform general maintenance involving plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating/cooling, and other systems.
• Inspect equipment and machinery and arrange repairs as needed.
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues with Community Manager/Regional Manager.
• Plan repair work using blueprints or manuals.
• Maintain and repair waterlines throughout the property.
• Maintain pool area and landscaping duties.
• Snow plowing and seasonal property maintenance.
• Keep common areas clean and free of trash and debris.
• Prepare property for changing weather and salt sidewalks as needed.
• Assist in keeping environment safe and well-kept.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
