Job summary

Premier Housing Management & Development, LLC in Davenport, IA is seeking a part-time Property Janitor to perform general upkeep and provide a clean environment for residents at the property. The role offers a 30-hour workweek with an hourly wage of $15.00 to $16.00.

The position requires the ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work in various outdoor weather conditions, with background/drug tests and a pre-employment physical. Prior cleaning/janitorial experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 6 months work experience in a cleaning/janitorial position.

Responsibilities

• Cleans vacant units thoroughly for new occupants.
• Ensures common areas are clean and litter-free, vacuuming, dusting, windows, stairwells and bathrooms.
• Regularly inspects common areas for adequate lighting.
• Picks up trash around the property.
• Performs year-round grounds maintenance including snow and ice removal if needed.
• Performs minor building/unit maintenance repairs and writes up work orders.
• Resets circuit breakers, changes switch/outlet plates, replaces light bulbs.
• Shuts off water valves when necessary.
