Job summary

Evergreen is seeking a dedicated Janitor to maintain clean, safe, and orderly residential buildings and grounds. You will perform routine cleaning, turnover support, and basic repairs, ensuring indoor and exterior spaces reflect Evergreen’s standards of care.

The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and strong teamwork to support the maintenance staff and residents in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ janitorial/custodial experience.
• Pool certification required for properties with a pool (if applicable).
• Valid driver’s license preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean common areas such as lobbies, restrooms, stairwells, kitchens, and offices.
• Perform deep cleaning of vacant units during turnover and trash removal.
• Remove graffiti, debris, and litter from interior and exterior areas.
• Walk property daily to pick up litter and check hazards; assist with snow and ice control.
• Assist with light maintenance and basic repairs; respond to work orders.
• Follow all safety policies and OSHA guidelines; use PPE and MSDS compliant products.
