Job summary

Birdwatch is seeking a Project Manager to lead residential projects in Loudoun County, VA, and to support select projects across the greater DMV region. You’ll own projects from kickoff to completion, ensuring homeowners have an exceptional experience.

You’ll coordinate vendors, subcontractors, inspections, permits, schedules, and materials, keeping work on time and within budget while maintaining thorough project documentation and high-quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience managing residential construction, remodeling, or home improvement projects.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with varied days.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Excellent communication with homeowners and contractors.
• Comfort with using technology to manage schedules and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for homeowners.
• Coordinate vendors, subcontractors, inspections, permits, schedules, and materials.
• Keep projects moving on time and within budget.
• Communicate proactively with homeowners.
• Ensure work meets Birdwatch’s quality standards before project completion.
• Identify issues early and work collaboratively to solve them.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, budgets, schedules, and change orders.
• Partner closely with our Director of Projects to continuously improve how we deliver projects.
