Job summary

South Shore Association dba SAIL is seeking a qualified program supervisor for the Apartment Treatment Program in East Rockaway, NY. You will oversee staff casework and resident services, coordinating intake, admissions, and service plans to ensure quality care in alignment with agency standards.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, maintaining accurate records (including Medicaid billing), and managing daily operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Services required; Master's preferred.
• Three years' experience in a human service field.
• Supervisory experience is not required but preferred.
• Ability to implement and manage change in a fast-paced, growing business environment.
• Critical thinking and sound judgment skills.
• Computer/office equipment usage.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrates organizational and communication skills with staff, clients, families, and community.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staff casework and resident services, ensuring care aligns with agency policies and quality standards.
• Coordinate resident intake, admissions, placements, transfers, discharges, assessments, and service plans.
• Provide medical, psychiatric, medication-management, counseling, case-management, crisis, vocational, educational, social, and recreational supports.
• Supervise program staff through hiring support, supervision, evaluations, training, staff meetings, and scheduling.
• Maintain confidential resident and program records, including Medicaid billing and audits.
• Manage daily program operations: apartment inspections, safety procedures, transportation, supplies, leases, and external coordination.
• Provide on-call response to medical or psychiatric emergencies and communicate with leadership.
