Job summary

The Center for Family Support Inc. in Nutley, NJ, seeks a Residence Manager to oversee daily operations of the residence, supervise DSPs, and ensure quality supports per OPWDD standards.

You will manage budgets, coordinate staff development, and maintain accurate records while upholding regulatory requirements and company policies. The role requires leadership, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to person-centered practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Health and Human Services or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in developmental disabilities with 1+ years in program supervision.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, implement and evaluate individual program plans in compliance with OPWDD/state regulations.
• Hire, train and supervise Direct Support Professionals.
• Orientation and evaluation of residential staff and maintaining confidential records.
• Implement all policies and programs of the facility and CFS per OPWDD guidelines.
• Attend and monitor team, interdisciplinary and clinical meetings.
• Ensure timely submission of payroll, Res Hab, Incident Reports and investigations.
• Maintain residence facilities to regulatory standards.
• On-call to address emergencies, safety hazards and staffing issues.
• Develop and maintain relationships with families/advocates.
