Job summary

Aspire Living & Learning seeks a Program Manager to oversee daily operations for adults with developmental disabilities in Maryland. You will mentor shift supervisors, supervise direct care staff, and ensure compliance with DDS and state regulations while managing staffing and assessments.

The role includes supervising clinical assessments, IP support, on-call duties, and training. Excellent communication and empathy are essential; a Bachelor’s in Human Services or related field is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or a related field is required or equivalent
• Experience providing support to individuals with disabilities and challenging behaviors is preferred
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills are essential

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations for adults with developmental disabilities
• Mentor, develop and supervise shift supervisors and direct care staff
• Ensure adherence to DDS, funding agency and state regulations
• Assist with writing clinical assessments and ISP assessments
• Handle on-call responsibilities and assist with IP; administer medication when required
• Support individuals in daily living skills and behavioral/habilitative plans
• Collaborate with People Team on corrective action when necessary
