Job summary

For Human Services, Inc. in New York seeks a dedicated Residence Manager to oversee one of our Group Homes.

The role ensures efficient operation, regulatory compliance, and a high quality of life for residents and staff, with a focus on safe medication handling and coordinated service planning. You will lead staff, manage budgets, monitor program goals, arrange medical appointments, and ensure documentation is complete.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years working experience in Behavioral Health or an intellectual disability-related field.
• Meet and clear all regulatory standards.
• Experience conducting medical appointments and scheduling appointments, administering medication, and correctly documenting medication dispensed.
• New York State Driver’s license is required.
• SCIP-R, CPR, AMAP, and First Aid trained.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality programming in the Residence.
• Lead staff and manage scheduling, assignments, and discipline as needed.
• Operate the Residence within the prescribed budget.
• Develop and monitor service plans and required paperwork.
• Maintain communication with staff, residents, and related parties.
• Coordinate services including medical, educational, work-related, and housing needs.
• Document goal/outcome reviews and schedule required meetings.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all required paperwork.
