Springbrook NY, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Residential Manager in New York.

This role supports the Residential Manager to ensure the home is safe, organized, and nurturing for residents, acting as a mentor and advocate to meet each resident’s needs. You will lead engagement staff, coordinate planning with residents, and handle documentation, while participating in medication-related tasks and medical appointments as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associates preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Must complete Springbrook New Manager Orientation and Leadership Training Program.
• Flexible schedule and strong written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Word; ability to learn other software.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and supervise engagement staff with the Residential Manager.
• Coordinate daily resident planning through weekly meetings.
• Mentor new hires within first 6 months.
• Ensure accurate completion of all required documentation each shift.
• Maintain active programming and daily planner goals for residents.
• Oversee medication audits, MAR checks, and appointment entries.
• Provide direct care including medication administration.
• Assist with medical appointments as needed.
• Attend trainings and staff meetings; on-call during work hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
